Overview

Synhop ("we", "us") operates the daily word game at www.synhop.com and related mobile apps. This policy explains what we collect and why.

Information we collect

• Account email and authentication data (via Supabase Auth)
• Optional leaderboard username and avatar
• Game data: daily completions, streaks, practice/archive plays, move counts, word chains
• Anonymous guest play identifiers stored locally and on our servers
• Push notification tokens if you enable notifications on mobile
• Payment status and Stripe customer ID if you subscribe to Synhop Plus (we do not store card numbers)
• Synonym validation cache entries derived from gameplay

How we use information

• Run the game, save streaks, and show leaderboards
• Process Synhop Plus subscriptions via Stripe
• Send account emails (confirmation, sign-in, password reset)
• Send optional daily or streak reminders on mobile
• Improve synonym validation using WordNet and Cloudflare AI where needed

Third-party services

We use Supabase (database and auth), Cloudflare (hosting and AI), Stripe (payments), and Datamuse (synonym suggestions). Each has its own privacy policy.

Retention and deletion

We keep account data while your account is active. You can delete your account from your profile page, which removes your profile, streaks, completions, and related records.
