Synhop ("we", "us", "our") operates the daily word game at www.synhop.com and related mobile apps. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. By using Synhop, you agree to this policy.

Informations collectées

  • Account email and authentication data (via Supabase Auth)
  • Optional leaderboard username and avatar
  • Game data: daily completions, streaks, practice/archive plays, move counts, and word chains
  • Anonymous guest play identifiers stored in your browser and on our servers
  • Push notification tokens if you enable notifications on mobile
  • Payment status and Stripe customer ID if you subscribe to Synhop Plus (we do not store card numbers)
  • Synonym validation cache entries derived from gameplay
  • Basic device and browser information, IP address, and request logs collected by our host (Cloudflare) for security and performance

  • Run the game, save streaks, and show leaderboards
  • Process Synhop Plus subscriptions via Stripe
  • Send account emails (confirmation, sign-in, password reset)
  • Send optional daily or streak reminders on mobile
  • Improve synonym validation using WordNet and Cloudflare AI where needed
  • Serve, personalize (where permitted), and measure advertising for free accounts through Google AdSense
  • Protect the service, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations

We and our partners use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember game progress, store consent choices, and (for free accounts) support advertising.

  • Essential: session and game state required to run Synhop
  • Advertising: Google may set cookies after you respond to Google's consent message (where shown) or when ads load

Publicité et Google AdSense

Free accounts may see ads served by Google AdSense after daily games and in a desktop banner. Synhop Plus subscribers do not see these in-game ad placements.

Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. This may include storing and accessing information on your device.

Vos choix

  • Delete your account from your profile page to remove stored game and profile data
  • Upgrade to Synhop Plus to remove in-game ad placements
  • Use Google's consent message (where shown) to accept, decline, or manage advertising cookies
  • Manage Google ad personalization at https://adssettings.google.com
  • Disable push notifications in your device settings

Conservation et suppression

We keep account data while your account is active. Deleting your account from your profile removes your profile, streaks, completions, and related records. Server logs and billing records may be retained for a limited period where required for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.

Enfants

Synhop is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact hello@neeche.studio and we will delete it.

Utilisateurs internationaux

If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to or withdraw consent for certain processing (including personalized ads). To exercise these rights, email hello@neeche.studio. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Modifications de cette politique

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of Synhop after changes means you accept the updated policy.
